Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, Lincoln...But, really, who cares what this loser does now that he is an elected offical anymore?

You know, I've always been one of those folks who thinks that tolerating a few RINOs is worth it to hold a majority, but this guy was by far the exception. Insufferable in manner and a backstabber in battle. Good riddance to stench-ridden garbage.

This was precisely what I said all along. If he had been reelected as the 50th "R", he would've bolted for the 'Rats for a Chairmanship. Good riddance to this apostate.

He is going to run for Governor as a Democrat.

That's kind of the problem. All options in RI were bad. I can't say that the 'vote for him, he might caucus with us' crowd was totally wrong, but I can't say they were right either. If we nominated Laffey, we lose. If we nominate Chafee, we probably lose, and even if we don't, we might not get anything.
Whatever happened to Lincoln Almond anyway? Why didn't he ever run for anything else. He seemed like a decent guy. He'd probably be to my left, but he wouldn't be as feckless and unreliable as Chafee.

How did you end up with this specimen?************
I didn't. He's from Rhode Island.

Whats the chance of Chaffe every being elected to anything again? Actually, I wonder .... maybe he likes being on the public dole and is going to run for governor? He's still popular in the state.
Of course it's pathetic all the way around.
