Just answer my questions or concede. You are making a fool out of yourself. More like I'm making a fool out of you.
You've already been proven to be a liar by accusing me of being a Cuban...when in fact I have no hispanic blood at all.
Bigot.
You should be ashamed of yourself.

""I'm not Cuban. In fact I'm not even hispanic. Just wondered how long it would take for your bigotry to show it's ugly face."
Yeah, so that's why you are "Jorge" and all upset about Hispanic immigration. Some may not believe you, Jorge, but I do..../sarc.
This is great. You just keep showing more and more of the right side of your face. And it isn't very pretty.
It's amazing how you presume to know the nationality and country of origin of posters you have not met nor know personally.
Your ignorance is astounding.
My real last name is actually French, and my nationality is English, French and German with a little American Indian.
No hispanic blood at all.
Your bigotry is clearer than ever in this debate."
To quote the greatest President of the twentieth century: "There you go again!".
Actually, if you read my post, I never accused you of being Hispanic, or Cuban for that matter. I only inferred that you were large and self righteous.
I apologize about the "large" part. I really have no idea about your size.
The "right side of my face"? Would you prefer, say, the "left"?
So why do you call yourself "Jorge" on a thread about amnesty for illegal (mainly) Hispanics? French would be Georges, right?
Funny how you use a handle like "Jorge" and become offended because people assume you are Hispanic. Especially given the subject. And I'm a bigot?
You are a lying hypocrite. You are sounding more and more like the liberal troll that you are.
Answer my two questions, fool. And quit wasting our time!

Seriously though, what does anyone around here propose we do with 12 million of these people? There is NO way you can send them all back. It is probably more like 60 million and there is no way in hell that we can send them all back. Any reasonable person should be able to understand that fact.
Another fact is we need a wall and we need it NOW!!. If the Chinese could do it so can we.

You are a lying hypocrite. Right. And you are rapidly losing your entertainment value on this board.
Go away little man.

Bush might as well pull the flusher on the Republican Party and put them out of their misery.

Cannon is a disingenous, pro-mass immigration extremist. His analysis of the election results is as dishonest as that of Fred Barnes and others pro-amnesty conservatives.
He speaks as if there was an opportunity to craft a 'guest worker' program made up of genuine guests; i.e. people who will eventually return home. But there was absolutely no reason to believe that the radicals in the Senate would have ever agreed to such a thing. And our nation's pathetic history of immigration enforcement suggests that there would be no will to make guests go home if they did not want to. Democrats would oppose any effort to make them do so, and the media would of course do one sob story after another about the horror of making 'guest workers' actually go home.
As far as I know, no one put forth a genuine guest worker program that included strong measures to make sure the worker goes home. The Kyl-Cornyn plan was close, but even it (I believe) allowed the 'guest' to bring family with them, which of course would greatly increase the chance that the guest would choose to stay, legally or illegally.

Reagan signed the last big amnesty into law, yet it did not result in a realignment of Hispanics towards the GOP. Most amnestied illegals, and future guest workers turned permanent legal immigrants will vote Democratic because the Democratic party appeals more to Hispanics. Its that simple. And the fact that Hispanics are conservative on many social issues will not be enough to change that.
And if we actually tried the Attrition strategy, then many illegals would deport themselves. Over time, the illegal population would be greatly reduced. Its at least worth a try, and its much preferrable to what would basically be a massive registration drive for the Democratic party.

"And the fact that Hispanics are conservative on many social issues will not be enough to change that."
With all due respect to the rest of your post I agree with, this whole idea about Hispanics being conservative on social issues is questionable.
They certainly are family centric, but in the clan sense the Iraqis are. Not the western idea of family values.
While they are tilted against abortion, they have little problem with teenage pregnancy and single parent families.
Education and planned parenthood are not a priority for young Hispanics or their parents.
And for being "conservative" on economic or government issues, forget it. They are hard core socialists.
This is why they are reliable Democrats.
