The MSM took down Nixon and Bush Sr. in 1992. What Bush Jr. is facing from the liberal media is much more than ever.

This election cycle has solidified the leftist network bias and proven them to be the fifth column anti-American democrat hacks they presented themselves as to anyone with a kernel of objectivity watching the daily propganda machine sweeping the leftist democrat party along on a wave crest of lies and selective 'reporting'. Disgusting is far too mild to describe the bastards such as Matthews and Russert and the entire of MSNBC and CNN (and you, Lou Dobbs, you closet liberal bastard).
------
Bravo - well stated. Yes, the libs are the libs and for all to see and be witness to. Professional Marxists, liars, criminals and social misfits says it all about these maggots that continue to prosper under the protections of our Constitution. Sadly we have no political party that will operating counter to their anti-American efforts. It is a dark time for America.

from F. Z. ONS 1973

I am gross and perverted
I'm obsessed 'n deranged
I have existed for years
But very little has changed
I'm the tool of the Government
And industry too
For I am destined to rule
And regulate you

I may be vile and pernicious
But you can't look away
I make you think I'm delicious
With the stuff that I say
I'm the best you can get
Have you guessed me yet?
I'm the slime oozin' out
From your TV set

There is alot of what frank said and stood for that repulses me but, he got this right.

Talking on here is useless in a way . We read eachother post and we are all in agreement for the most part . What we KNOW here has to be brought out to the general public. We need ACTIVIST . We need to do what they do . Have LOUD , obnoxious protest for EVERY LITTLE DAMNED thing they do wrong. FORCE ourselves to get air time. Maybe FR should do a major advertising campaign and get the moron general public to KNOW the truth . The Dems lied about almost everything and they TOTALLY get away with it . How come the whole country know Code Pink but no us ? A bunch of wacko lesbians figured out how to get national exposure. We need to .

Which came first, the GOP abandoning conservatives or conservatives abandoning the GOP.

Precisely. Supporting the groovy, chameleon GOP does not do conservatism any favors. Backing candidates like Lincoln Chaffee and Susan Collins gets "R's" elected, but betrays conservatism to do so. If Republicans are going to represent the conservative ideal, then they need to be conservatives, not just Republicans.

We need to begin formulating a costly, bloody purge of our party, starting with people like Chuck Hagel, John McCain, Lindsay Graham, Collins and Olympia Snowe, Arlen Specter, Richard Lugar, and the Usual Suspects. These are the people who fought us on the Clinton impeachment, or the war, or the tax cuts, and they've continued to betray us ever since.

And the tepid Bush apologists need to wake up and see the damage wrought by the Ghost of Kinder-Gentler.

We're going to lose ground in the process. So be it. When we emerge from the fray, we'll be a purer, more streamlined party capable of Reaganesque greatness once again. We can't achieve that carrying the dead weight of McCain and his Gang of 14.

"Has anyone demanded this reporter apologize on air for this bull?"

Who?
"Demanded"??
HA!!
That only works if you're an officially declared minority, and then only if a registered Liberal-Socialist.
It's not bleak, it's grim my friend.

"Has anyone hounded him to death about this , called him out on it..."

Let's assuming someone tried [that], OK?
You've not been *ignored* until you've been ignored by a Liberal-Socialist media-quisling, and that's a fact witnessed by conservatives of every stripe for so long I cannot remember, anymore.

Besides we'd all have to admit the damage has been done, "mission accomplished".
~eh?

"...tourtured him about it untill EVERYONE hears about it ?"

HA!!
*My* kind of neighbor. ;^)
Only thing one could do against this particular shill would be send him to Vietnam with the word "Christian" tattooed across his forehead if torture were the ticket. {g}
Honest.

"Thats how we have to act from now on."

We of the Right, are you joking?
Can't display that much passion, civil disobedience & certainly not in public!
What're you some kind of radical and/or *boor*? :o)

Why it'd be *uncouth* to behave in ways equal to the outrage, sonic.
Besides such acts might otherwise interrupt the stock-market or Heaven forbid even worse, a football game on TV featuring the team of your *choice*.
Priorities my friend, priorities. {/sarc} :o)

"Make scenes in public if necessary DEMAND explainations and public apologies."

Listen, only the Left's army does that kind of stuff.
Their army has, after all, nothing to lose.
Literally. ;^)

"We play WAY to nice."

Yup, we sure do.
Always have and as far as I can tell we always will, too.

If and/or when one of our own stands up to smack 'em down -- Annie Coulter, Rush, Mr.Newt for example -- before the leftists can get a chance to kick 'em to the curb?
The Right-wing gets there first & does the job, *themselves*.
Happens ever time.
Yes it's damned odd, but true.

If I were you I'd reconcile the rage, somehow.
In fact get used to it because if the past's any predictor of the future the situation ain't gonna be changing.

...anytime soon. ;^)

Neither do we at this point. Actually we have the country to loose if you think about it . The Muslims are real happy the Dems won . What does THAT tell you ? While the Dems spend 2 years playing childish SPITE games the US will be in more danger than it ever has been in history .
We better change our way fast .

GOOD ONE BRO ...The day after election half the teachers in my school had the sports page out and were pondering the football scores. Most didn't have a clue about what really happened . One said something stupid about Haliburton is going to get it now , some dumb ass statement like that .

With all the 'investigations' Waxman, Rangel, et al are planning, nothing would surprise me; and, the ones planned on Iraq, the DOD, the Prez, etc will only make the terrorists, Imanutjob in Iran, Chavez, etc even happier.

Thank you for sending me this before I ate. Because if it was after, I would have thrown up all over the house. He is a fool if, for what he did to tie up congress, any rep would reward him, forget it. Got a question for you who will run now? The one good thing here is he is no longer the moderate seven, he am sitting at da back of da bus. While he is in da back of da bus he can wave a t Kennedy and learn Spanish, Si amigo!

Exactly! I'm sure the marxist, communist group of attorneys (led by Michael RATnew) that has had terrorists as clients and has filed against Rummy et al in Germany will be all too happy to assist them, too. Pelosi (2nd in line from the Pres) had quite a big smile on her face when she was sitting in the oval office the other day.

So what do we DO about it?

Talk radio, internet, and *sometimes* Fox news help and I am convinced we would be talking President Kerry without them.

But we have to have a plan.

FreeRepublic TV or something.

Maybe the HotAir stuff Malkin is doing will help.
Getting things like that on the internet.
Video is going to be sent to cell phones soon.

MSM is part of the equation. Not ALL of it. But we need to do something.

Evidently, Tom Vilsack has already announced - and so has Duncan Hunter (head of the Armed Services Committee) and my congress critter. He's really a good guy - and I'm hoping he has a chance.

He's been one of the main fighters to get a fence along the border.

But .. my money is on the one repub who is willing to expose the "Barrett Report". Tony Snow did a long story on this report - and how the dems (Kerry/Dodd) tried to put legislation onto another bill - killing printing of the Barrett Report. Our tax dollars paid for that report - and nobody in congress has the guts to expose it .. because it lays bare the wrong doings of the democrat party - and now I suspect it includes some repubs. So .. the congress is ignoring it and trying to pretend what's in there is not important to the taxpayers. But .. had the report been exposed - THE DEMS WOULD NOT HAVE WON THE ELECTION.

While the repubs were trying to protect their own hide - they didn't think it was important enough to expose the "culture of corruption" within the dems party - ALL DURING THE CLINTON YEARS.

My contention is .. any repub who has the guts, fortitude and just plain backbone to expose this report - will have the repub base in their bus - and victory in 2008. So far, I'm not sure I can see anybody like that on the horizon.

>Their army has, after all, nothing to lose. Literally.
"Neither do we at this point."

No, neither do *you*.
You're a student, right?
Wait'll you graduate, land a good job, start a family & buy a home.
You'll understand real fast the Right's made-up of primarily those kinds of people, the other side's the polar opposite.

The mere fact you're here shows you're a person who's politically savvy. Seeks to improve themself. Is willing to work and sacrifice and one day make no mistake you'll be quite successful.
It's inevitable.
The Liberal-Socialist side has *none* of the virtues you possess so you see, literally they've nothing to lose because they have nothing to lose.
The stakes.

"Actually we have the country to loose if you think about it."

I've thought about it often & a lot, my friend.
While I understand what you're trying to say, the country will persevere on.
What kind of government will run it, that's the only question.

"The Muslims are real happy the Dems won."

Yea well they are what they are, sonic.
Y'know, the "religion of peace" & all that. ;^)

"What does THAT tell you?"

Tells me I should say a prayer & thank God in Heaven there're people like YOU in the pipeline ready to take the reigns because as long as that's true it's not a total loss.

"While the Dems spend 2 years playing childish SPITE games the US will be in more danger than it ever has been in history."

Have faith.
The LIberal-Socialists can, do & will screwup.
They can't help themselves, screwups screwup, that's *what* they do.

"We better change our way fast."

From the mouths of babes. {g}
Can't argue with that.

...never would, never could.

Got to say, I'm a Brent Bozell fan too.

"The last one, the prospect of Sen. Harold Ford Jr., didn't happen, but that was miraculous, considering the national press viciously insisting that cheeky Republican ads with a brief joke about his trip to a Playboy party were exploiting every last vestige of racism in America when, in fact, they were cleverly and powerfully exposing Ford's church-poseur hypocrisy."

The MSM recognized....but willfully ignored Harold Ford's Jesus hypocrisy. The MSM will not tolerate hypocrisy....unless it's in a democrat!

"proof"

You got that right. I'm amused by all the commentary from some Freepers who believe that it was a particular issue or issues that defeated Republicans. What defeated Republicans was the huge influence of Big Media. I read a number of big city papers, and it was astonishing to read the absolute dishonest reporting or non-reporting of Republican admin victories in the last five years. Every triumph, like the 4.4% unemployment rate, was ignored or dismissed.

Some Freepers think that because of the internet, talk radio, and FOX News, we have reached parity with Lib Big Media in our influence on the average American. Nothing could be further from the truth. The former help, but they still draw far fewer readers and viewers than does LBM. We have a long way to go in that area. In short, if the news from Big Media would have been presented fairly, the disaster that occurred Tuesday would not have happened.
