Candy Edwards, ex-wife of former Louisiana Governor Edwin Edwards, is now a mother.
The 42-year-old delivered an eight-pound 2-ounce baby boy at a Baton Rouge hospital this morning.
The father is Brian Low, a 31-year-old financial advisor from Baton Rouge. The two are not married.
The baby's name is Harrison Arthur Picou Low. The baby's father tells WAFB 9NEWS, both he and Candy picked out the baby's first name. Arthur, he says, is Candy's father's name. Picou is her maiden name. And Low is the father's last name.
I do find it interesting that they did not get married. I am still betting that Edwin Edwards will get his senteance commuted by Bush on his last day in office. Reports like this make me think something is in the works
Oh. I apologize to Mr. Edwards. I thought this was about John Edwards because he's positioning himself for 2008. My mistake.
Its funny you mention that. Edwin Edwards had this irratating South Louisiana guy that kept running ads that Edwards was Gay or bisexual. I went to school with his nephew. It drove Edwards up the wall lol
I felt bad. I don't know this guy. I thought it was about Kerry's John Edwards. Maybe it was a psychic Freudian slip? LOL.
This kid's name will be on the ballot down there before you know it.
Oh, it's nice that she's settling down with a family! Instead of driving drunk and resisting arrest, screaming at the arresting officer: Do you know who I am?!?!?! Didn't do her any good, much to the credit of the officer.
