This writer uses "minority" as if referring to nonwhites. Isn't the case in Texas, that whites are now the minority? No, whites are not really a minority in Texas. There are more whites than any other ethnicity. Whites simply no longer outnumber all other ethnicities combined. Why that's the cause of such paranioa is beyond me.

Also important to note that there are real-life situations that skew these statistics that get tossed around to incite said paranoia. For instance, my sister and her Irish-surname husband's child is counted as "hispanic" rather than "non-hispanic white" (even though he's red-headed and freckle-faced--they will spend a ton on sunscreen for this kid). This is a very common situation in my community.

I'm glad you're just thrilled with illegals. You'll get more of them now that the safety valve of the Republican House is gone, so party time for you.

Mesquite gets by just fine without DART. If the new blue Dallas County wants to punish Farmers for upholding the law, well, that's not unexpected from Democrats.
