the entire Former Soviet Union and China are expected to have massive military exercises early next year.
Russia has but one carrier. Carriers are needed for our type of warfare (Theatre based), but is not needed for Russia's or China's type of warfare (Strategic based). Also, Russia has hypersonic torpedoes that can take out our carriers from tens of miles away by a sub.
