Iranian Press admits major bribes paid to EU countries for their support.
- Iran Press News translated Iranian press reports that admitted that major bribes had been paid to European countries to attract their support and cooperation with Tehran’s regime.

- Caroline B. Glick, Townhall.com argued that since it is Iranian and Syrian sponsorship of the insurgency that is causing the war in Iraq to continue, it is fairly clear that Baker is egging for a temporary ceasefire that will last long enough to enable a pullout of US forces.
- Richard Miniter, The New York Post reported that the next most distressing immediate change in Iraq is the likely departure of Ambassador Khalilzad from Iraq. He was respected across the political spectrum in Iraq, largely because he listened at length, spoke plainly and kept his word. His likely replacement is worrisome.

- Iran Press News reported on the unrest in the Iranian port city of Bushehr, where the police sprayed with bullets customs workers, drivers and an innocent worker.
- Reuters reported that a percussion bomb exploded in a residential area in the southwestern city of Ahvaz, the heartland of Iran's oil industry, but no one was hurt.
- Breitbart.com reported that Iranian TV broadcast footage it claimed showed a US aircraft carrier cruising in Gulf waters it said was taken by an unmanned Iranian drone.
