All of Syria ~ and that's quite a lot of territory including chunks of what is now Turkey. Nothing that was part of the empire of the Medes (who conquered the Persians) would be included. For the most part that would consist of the areas held by the Kurds and Armenians.

Have you seen the science demonstration of a chain reaction in which the teacher drops one ping pong ball into a large container of ping pong balls?

If Mahmoud Ahmadinejad were to launch one of his missiles (developed with Russian and North Korean assistance) at, say, Tel Aviv, the chain reaction would be on a scale we've not seen.

Syria has been named an endpoint for the Iraqi WMDs removed before the U.S. invasion in 2003. Bashir Assad would do well to divorce himself from the actions of Ahmadinejad, perhaps by opening his country to inspectors.

Syria--and Iran--will not modify terrorist behaviors until those behaviors carry an unbearable cost.

Which won't be a piece of paper signed by diplomats.
