President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday hoped that Iran's full success in the field of fuel cycle would be celebrated this year.
President Ahmadinejad said here Tuesday that the so-called time of diplomacy is running fully in the Iranian nation's favor.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, President Ahmadinejad said the 5+1 group has eventually agreed to deal peacefully and cooperate with nuclear Iran.
"Today, they have finally agreed to live and deal with nuclear Iran, which has mastered nuclear fuel cycle," said Ahmadinejad.
He said today, Iran is a country possessing nuclear fuel cycle.
He added that by the grace of God Almighty and thanks to the vigilance and perseverance of the Iranian nation, "our condition has been stabilized."

Okay... serious question. If they are developing nuclear weapons, what do they have to gain strategically by always announcing every step of progress? Most countries keep this quiet.

In the present climate if the Iranians go nuclear with a functioning bomb, we either have to bug out or do a preemptive strike. Looks like that is what is being hotly debated back in DC. Explains why GWB is bouncing back and forth like a ball on a ping pong table (Realist-Neocon Tugowar).

Why did Iran just make that video of the US aircraft carrier public ? Why did they show us all their new found 'secret' weapons during their recent military exercises ? Why did China just pop up a sub in the middle of a US Carrier Battle Group ? Obviously the Iranians have not read The Art of War - 'All warfare is based on deception'. The Chinese however have absolutely no excuse.

The waffling is hurting our foreign policy worse than the damn Democrats. It's time to crap or get the hell off the pot - how can anyone seriously belive that a military presence in non-nuclear Iraq and "diplomatic pressure" against its nuclear neighbor is a viable foreign policy. Why does Bush keep talking about "talks" with Iran? What the hell is there to talk about? Our only consolation for this spineless foreign policy is that while Bush won't enforce the Bush doctrine, the Israelis will. I would rather rely on our military for my protection rather than Israel, but I guess beggars can't be choosers...

It's obviously a calculated step. If Ahmadinejad thought that an American military response was a possibility, he wouldn't announce it. He certainly doesn't have to worry about intel revealing it because after Iraq it's a hard sell to Americans. He's either looking for concessions or is trying to garner support among his Middle Eastern counterparts by standing up to "big bad America"

With our current government Cuba will have ICBM nuke capability soon. Our democratic congress with provide the technology so there can be balance and fairness in the world.
