Yes, let’s just set a precedence here. Don’t get me wrong; I would hate to see anyone die in a situation like this. However, the members of the press corps know the dangers going in. Paying for kidnapped news people will defiantly encourage the enemy.
I'll say, they know how dangerous it is going in, they go in for the thrills of being on the other side with the bad guys, I think, and then we PAY to get them out.
