Yes, I'm pro-life and against gay rights, where Giuliani shares neither of my views on these issues. But, to me, the terrorism issue is far more important, #1 on the list.

This is where Giuliani's appeal falls apart. Pushing a candidate like this for his approach to the so-called "war on terror" (whatever the hell that may be) at the expense of all other issues is a huge mistake. The GOP barely maintained control of the White House in 2004 (against a terrible candidate, BTW), and it will be that much more difficult to convince voters in 2008 that this "war on terror" is even one of the top five issues anymore.

The biggest problem a candidate like Giuliani would face in 2008 is getting support from those 90% of the voters who don't see the "war on terror" as a key issue anymore.

We will be fighting radical Islam for the rest of our lives, regardless of how Iraq ultimately pans out. The fact of the matter is Al Qaeda has vowed to launch more devastating attacks upon America. We need a President who will take them out first, not react after its too late.

Aside from the fact that Hillry will accuse Rudy of doing nothing for all these years while she has the votes to demonstrate just how serious she has been on the WOT.

Hillry will even promote her voting on the House Border Fence Bill, even though when the House passed it she accused the Republican House of making Jesus illegal if they could.

Oh and wait until the feminists get through with how Rudy treated his women, and how Hillry represents the strength of a Biblical woman standing by her less than perfect man.

Go crawl in the closet with Nancy Pelosi and stay there while the rest of us save western civilization.

IF Rudy Giuliani is the candidate in '08, there will be no need to sell terrorism as a top issue. Most people who see his face think instantly of one thing: 9/11. He will need make no reminders. And, as much as people want to forget, they simply can't.

Giuliani, as a New York Italian-American, took on the mob and won. The Gotti's are gone as an effective mafia family.

He took on the porn merchants at Times Square and won. Instead of dozens of XXXX shops, at the very heart of Times Square is a Toys R Us!

He took on the entrenched NYC bureaucracies and won. His personal involvement in NYPD reduced crime over 50%.

He cleaned up a city that had been written off as hopeless.

He is the Islamofascists, and their supporters', worst nightmare. I kinda like that.

Two years is a long time when you have crazy men who hate us in control of nuclear arms.

"the so-called "war on terror" (whatever the hell that may be"

Sounds like Dim talking points. You can't seriously doubt that we are at war with an enemy that wants to obliterate us.

The WOT, the war on Islamo-fascism, is the prime issue. If we do not mount a strong campaign against these people who have sworn to destroy us, we are doomed. We must have a POTUS who will fight on all fronts, domestically, with surveillance and interrogation, and internationally with the same.

If we lose the WOT, all the social issues we care about count not a whit. You can't bring a child into this world, bear arms, or defend marriage if you are dead.

The stakes are that high. Ignore them at your peril.
