These things are cyclical. We have a few years of these flower losers left then it will be MY GENERATION's turn. My generation is the one who came of age under Reagan, and we will change things. Then ther will be the children who came of age under Clinton. And so it goes.

Hmmm...interesting concept - My mom, hopeless hipppie - I fall into the Reagan generation with you. My baby brother grew up in the Clintoon era, so I can see that ....Now my teenage son is highly conservative and holds strong even in ultra-lib Portland, OR. Too bad he'll miss the opportunity to vote in the next election by four months....That will be the next one.
