When plain biological facts conflict with political correctness, the liberals will uphold pc every time.

There are LEGAL reasons the father should be listed. (what if the kid stands to inherit something nobody knows about yet?)
There are MEDICAL reasons that they might want to trace his genetic background.
The only reasons to have two womens names on the birth certificate are political correctness, selfishness, and feel goodisms.
None of which have anything to do with the welfare of the child.
