Surpressing information about this assault helps the perpetrators. And it helps to hide the reality of what happened.

And if I were Councilwoman, I would want more light shed on this, not less. The only way to prevent crimes this heinous is to talk about them openly and truthfully and help stop young people from growing into beastly mobs, or at least not allowing them to form beastly mobs, if parents won't civilize their young.
