- YNet News reported that several Iranian newspapers urged Muslims around the world to prepare for a 'great war' to destroy the State of Israel.
Bush and Putin meet but still no progress on Iran.
- MosNews reported that President Bush and Russia’s Vladimir Putin met for brief talks at a Moscow airport on Wednesday which were to touch on trade and international sanctions against Iran over its nuclear program.
- The Jerusalem Post reported that US Ambassador John Bolton said Wednesday there were still "wide gaps" between the Russians and Europeans, a view echoed by Russian Ambassador Vitaly Churkin.
Ahmadinejad confident the world will give into a nuclear Iran.
- The Jerusalem Post reported that Ahmadinejad insisted the West will gradually back down in its standoff with Iran and eventually accept its nuclear program.
He claims: They are just one step away...
- Islamic Republic News Agency reported that Ahmadinejad said that Iran is today one step ahead with the passage of each minute and just one step remains to nuclear climax.
Condi still not interested in direct talks with Iran and Syria.
- Aljazeera.net reported that Condoleezza Rice, the US secretary of state, has played down the idea of direct talks with Iran and Syria, saying that neither appeared interested in helping to stabilize Iraq or the Middle East.

I wish they would just get on with it and stop all this saber rattling - if you're going to fight, fight. If not, shut-up and go back to your hole.

Unfortunately they're not that dumb to start something under Bush. They have to remain hidden and obfusticate Iraq for 2 more years before they can test the mettle of the next Pres.

Israel may just be the country that will save the West. It is not going to lie down and let itself be destroyed by evil Islam. Once it pulls the nuclear trigger the cowardly West may just join in the fight.
On second thought, I'm not sure that I am right about the West.
It continued: "Just as in one 33-day war more than 50 percent of Israel was destroyed, and the hope of its supporters for the continued life of this regime was broken, it is likely that in the next battle, the second half will also collapse."
Now, I was disappointed when Israel did not fully engage Hezbollah, as they could have. Still, the above statement has absolutely no foundation. Their delusions and belief in them are what make them so unpredictable and dangerous.
