Wow, sometimes when they don't mean to, they let slip information thats hurts their claims.

Follow me on this one. Homosexuals and the media have always maintained that 10% of the population is gay...yet the second largest grouping of homosexuals in a city is only 12%? And in San Fran, where so many flock to, its only 15%???

Black population of the US is apprx 12% yet in several cities they make up over 60% of the population.

Puts paid to the lie that they represent 10% of the population.

The 10% number is old. The article estimates that there are 8.8 million gays in the US - that's 2.9.

There are real problems with relying on surveys like this. First of all, they are conducted by govt social workers, who are overwhelmingly liberal. Second, they ask extremely personal questions which most conservatives would probably not feel comfortable answering, or comfortable giving this information to the government. Third, the survey takes about 60 minutes to answer and must be taken in person, on a computer, which means they have to find people with that the free time to answer all of the questions (the female survey is 138 pages). Those that take the survey get $40.

Take a look at the questionnaires (pdf):

I was stunned to see SF only at 15%. Maybe because every person there flaunts it so blatantly.

I immediately thought the same thing. Good summary of the issue.

Also, it's worth noting that this must be numbers for the cities proper, and not the metro areas. I guarantee that Atlanta metro doesn't have the percentage mentioned for Atlanta, but that the City of Atlanta (which is relatively small, population-wise, when compared to the metro area) very well might.

Good point. Depending on the homosexual advocate that you speak to it can be 10 to 12% - anywhere.

My personal life experience places the ratio of males at about 2 to 3%.

I know a few lesbians, but most of them seem to be the product of their environment. I do not believe most are naturally predisposed toward other women.

They've always lied about the percentage of homosexuals, it's a very small percentage, but a very LOUD, small percentage.
