For the past few months all the public could know about the goings on during numerous closed-door hearings in Courtroom #16 were from one-line court filings indicating the proceedings were dealing with requests from I Lewis "Scooter" Libby - Vice President Cheney's former chief of staff - to include classified materials in his defense of perjury and obstructions charges in the CIA leak trial.

Once they settle on what docs and how many docs, the defense should introduce a bunch of em and then say this only covers xx% of the total but because of national security, we can only present a very small portion.

Thanks for the ping. The NY Sun reported today that the judge has withdrawn his opinion on the classified docs (saying Fitz had to give Libby more than he had)because of a legal error. I have no idea what that means.
The Libby ruse is over now, mission accomplished for the Dem's. Fitz can now proceed to represent the Dem's in the main event, the impeachment proceedings against Bush.
