Not only was the issue too important, but his apology would not be sincere. He would apologize only to rehabilitate himself with conservatives, not because he actually feels remorse for what he did. Narcissistic personalities aren't capable of remorse.

McCain has shown us repeatedly that he is a domestic enemy of the Constitution. He must never be President.
