I think he won some of the early Presidential primaries in 2000.
that's why I said 'Republican' primaries. Michigan democrats voting in our primary doesn't count. Remember that the Dems didn't really need a primary cuz Gore was running so wherever possible they voted in our primary to derail the Bush juggernaut.
