Exactly... Wasn't it Romania's dictator, Nicolae Ceausescu, who was executed just a day or so after his trial, once he had been overthrown?

This New York bunch of communists will do anything and everything to destroy Iraq's effort to become an independent Democracy. To not give a murderous SOB every chance to survive and get back into society is beyond the twisted minds of the left. To hell with these self appointed haters of freedom and America, their actions are pure treason and they have no group opposing their venomous aims. When will the conservatives stand up and attack these monkey minds and destroy their ability to damage America. Enough is enough!
They are trying to fire a shot across the bow concerning Saddam's impending execution.
Who cares what they say. Sadam will swing regardless.
Good now hang him.
Reminds me of a judge who wants told me: "OK, you make your arguments, then I'll sentence your client." That certainly gave me confidence in the hearing I would get for the man in his homicide case.
Human Rights Watch would have had problems with somebody prosecuting Hitler.
The Left will only protest to the people they know that will not physically harm them. That is why you never see these people marching in somalia, sudan, north korea, because " Hell those people might kill us". nah we would rather throw pebbles at the lion behind the cage because we know he cant hurt us. These people are a joke.
"In a 97-page report..."

Took HRW 97 pages to come up with such idiocy? The enviro-whackos should be all over them for wasting trees on this garbage.
You are correct. The trial of Milosovic was a joke. IMO they killed him in order to stop the trial they couldnt win.
Now what human Rights is up to is trying to take that self same court that screwed over Milosovic and make it the International court to try people like Hussein.
If they want to do something why dont they insist that Mugabe be tried in this ionternational court.
What is funny is that Human Rights Watch wants to be the judges ,but they havent the courage to be the policemen.
They want someone else to round up these criminals so they can judge them.
I don't care. Iraqi's tried him. They convicted him. Let them kill him. The world will be better off with one less cockroache in it.
Maybe they will more impressed with the swiftness of his hanging.
Do tell...
I don't think the defendant's lawyer should be given a veto over the fairness of the trial by staging walkouts. What a stupid concept.
I have heart rendering photographs of Saddam's mass graves that I would like to send to this ignorant group. JessM
Thanks, I figured that. I just don't see the relevance of it as far as US news is concerned. The US doesn't run the Iraqi courts, and therefore can't be accused of any impropriety in the trial. Of course, the Iraqis won't listen to Human Rights Watch, so they try for an audience who might care, even if there is nothing for us to do. Typical liberalism.
