But a black man, specifically a black comedian could say the same exact thing as Richards, word for word, and everyone would laugh.

***************

Chris Rock has been mentioned on this thread as an example of a black comedian who uses some of the words that Richard used in his diatribe. I have watched Rock many times, and I have yet to see him direct these words at a specific white person.

I'm not sure that the objection is to Richards' use of the "N" word, but that he directed it toward a particular member of the audience.

Yeah but you go ino these comedy clubs, these comedians always pull this direct offensive stuff on the audience. For example, you`ll have some comedian single out someone, and he`ll ask personal questions then make fun of his physical appearance. Andrew Dice Clay was the worst, but I`ve been in comedy clubs where I saw a lot of comedians get just as bad.

I remember one comedian in particular John Mulrooney, who was getting heckled by this guy all night, and when this heckler went to the bathroom, this Mulrooney walked over to this hecklers table took his drink and sucked it down his throat and then spit it all back into the glass then put it back on the table, so when this heckler came back he drank it! Ewwww!

These comedy clubs can just get hardcore, and they will do stuff like that just as easily as yelling out racial stuff, and I`ve seen black comedians single out a black guy and call him the "N" word. Look at David Chapelle, he does it all the time on his TV show.

It seems to me it`s possible this black guy could have called Richards a racial slur in the first place which is why Richards responded that way, but of course you won`t have that focused on much like the Rodney King incident didn`t focus on Rodney charging the cops and pulling his pants down telling them to kiss his ass not to mention him beforehand refusing to pull over after driving 100mph for miles on end. All the media showed was his ass getting rightfully kicked.

I would be very interested to see that whole Richards video in its entirety and see if the media is once again exasperating the situation by only showing the part that fits their agenda, which is convincing people, blacks in particular, that all white people are racists and therefore you should vote Democrat even though the Republican party is a million times more for blacks than Democrats could ever hope to be.

Watch that video again, I just did. After he goes into the "n****r n****r..." rant, he says "You see? You see?"

Now why would he say that? What would cause him to say "You see? You see?"

All we see in this video is him ranting and raving, we do not see what comes before it.

It seems to me, the most likely explanation is this heckler was calling Richards a racial slur first, which we do hear him say after Richards rant, and that Richards was simply pointing out that when he does it, when he uses the "N" word, it is taboo.

I do not believe anything the media says or shows when it is shown in such a small edited video clip. Show me the entire video of this and let me hear this heckler making unracist cat calls and then Richards going into this rant, and I will call Richards a racist to his face. But I will not and nobody should call him a racist until this video is shown in its entirety.
