Why is he so popular in Vietnam?
Did I miss something? I heard that W is the same as the devil and Adolf Hitler.
Vietnamese teenagers have always been smarter than your average schlubs, dedicated to overachievement, and I guess that extends to Vietnam as well. In short, they can think for themselves and don't pay attention to the mainstream media.
It's an illusion. They've clearly been paid. Or so says today's fish wrapper.
Uhhh? 'Cause Communism sucks?
Yep. That too. Been there done that.
I have been wanting to go overseas to Asia for a vacation... .seems like a nice place to try now!
Highly recommended. They love us. And the food is to die for, world's best.
If true, will communism fall in Vietnam at some point?
No, you're thinking Venezuela not Vietnam. In the former, Bush is also a "Dun-key":
It's already withering away, fast. Can you IMAGINE the effect of these photos of screaming teenagers on Vietnam's old gray men of the Kremlin? They are pragmatic so they are likely to want to get onto the capitalism bandwagon. Nobody likes to look like an old fuddy duddy and in their case, they don't like to lose face either. They are likely to grant young Vietnamese ever more freedom. They also don't like to be left in the dust by increasingly uncommunist China either. Freedom's winds are blowing hard in Vietnam right now.
Interesting that Bush and America are popular in Vietnam, which after the war and all you'd think would hate us, but hated in Indonesia, which being our longtime ally you'd think would love us. Funny how that works.
Yeah, and we gave them all that tsunami aid, too. As for Vietnam, we gave them carpet bombing and just look at the result!
Ping!
Kerry must be irked!! Him being in their museum and all.
And he was in Cambodia, too. It's seared in his memory.

Here's a group of Canadians gathering to welcome him in Ottawa, November 30, 2003.
Does this mean we are not hated by everyone in the world? Must be. MSM will not accept it, not will the libs.
Hold your mouse pointer over the last photo.
We also sent a few hundred thousand young Americans there, over the years ... and most of 'em were our best.
Maybe that's what the average Nguyen over there remembers.
Maybe we won their hearts and minds after all.
ROFL!!!!
But... but... but... Ann Compton said on her 9 AM (Pacific) ABC radio report that there were many protesters, and was VERY careful to repeat the words they used in their protests: "Pig," "Dog," and "Warmonger."
How very helpful she is. What would we do without her?
The hell with VietNam.
When do you think we will defeat communism in the USA?
The US represents democracy and freedom. Bush has been a vocal supporter of such ideas. So, people without neither will gravitate to him and his ideas. He represent everything that they can't have. Hope springs eternal for a Free Vietnam!
There were protestors in Indonesia! That's Death Cult land. Vietnam, otoh, is Sanity Island in comparison.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
LOL. Maybe she even mentioned my favorite, "My sister, she cherry girl".
It's been a long time since I heard those words.
Why does it not surprise me that I've heard nothing of this on the news?
This must be all staged :)

haha to funny
Thanks for that, Chris.
But, you would have thought that Ms. Compton, being a fair and balanced professional journalist, would have brought up the S. Vietnam cheers to counterbalance the Indonesian protests, eh?
(chirp chirp)
Indonesia is nuts.
"Saigon, the site of US defeat three decades ago..."
Pardon? The AFP wants to re-write history.

"Look! Rick Neilsen and Bun E. Carlos!"
Need to put my glasses on. I'm here because I thought I saw the word "thongs".
If this is TRUE.......you will only see these photos and hear about it HERE!!
Now now, you know better than to believe the MSM.
I believe I read a small article about the youth in South Korea being unhappy with their leadership's 'friendly' attitude towards the North.
Isn't Indonesia muslim? Home of the Bali bombers?
That darned Karl, started those rumors that the Prez had PS3's to give away...
Hey, this is in all the papers and is going to be Chris Matthews' top story! (Just kidding)
Sick!
Funny but sick.

Uh Oh... the libs will not like this.
So true Kitten, they've seen GW in the pilot's outfit and don't want Iraqis to go through what their parents and grandparents went through after we left.
Emailing them to the MSM now... after a posting at DU of course.
I would pay top dollar at Christies to get a picture of GW looking disapprovingly at the photo of Kerry in the Vietnam War museum.
I have not heard a peep about Kerry in that museum. Not even from Fox. I've been disappointed. Or did I miss it?
Quote of the Day.
