They could double the security if they asked Chelsea Clinton to join them. That would be interesting.

You would see pictures of all three of them with dudes.

Princesses?? LOL! You can't be that ignorant. And if you are, maybe you should consider keeping it to yourself.

Both the Bush daughters have been involved in self-sacrificial life-styles.....Barbara in working with AIDS patients in Africa, and Jenna having taught in a charter school in DC. They are anything but 'princesses.'

And it's absolutely absurd to say that they should stay home just because their father is President.

If you're 'tired' of them, maybe you should educate yourself, or just stay off DU where they say the same kinds of things......

Dad and mom should tell them they're stupid once in a while.

Is your problem that yours forgot to tell you that?

There's nothing 'stupid' about either of the Bush girls. Perhaps you should see if you could do as well at Yale as Barbara did......

Got friends who are missionaries in Argentina & they say bandidos are a bad problem there- My friend even woke one night to find two people in her house- fortunately a scream was all that was needed- BUT they do carry guns and aren't afraid to use them from what she was saying. http://sacredscoop.com

I have this funny trait.......I don't believe everything I read, especially after the facts (known or unknown) have been sifted by the MSM.

From a British Government site...

Crime

In Buenos Aires the most frequent problems involve distraction theft, bag snatching and armed robberies in the street, in taxis and restaurants. Distraction thefts commonly occur in public areas such as Internet cafes, and train and bus stations. You should keep a close hold on your personal possessions and bags. Con men have also robbed tourists while an accomplice pretends to help remove ketchup or mustard which has been "accidentally" sprayed on them. Another common occurrence is the slitting of handbags in crowded places. Be particularly attentive in popular tourist areas, such as San Telmo. You should avoid carrying too much cash or wearing ostentatious jewellery.

Yes. However, on the same trip I left my camera in the hotel room in Mexico City when we traveled to the other city and when I came back, the hotel returned it to me! The maid had turned it into the desk!

Whenever they call an area "picturesque", chances are you wouldn't dine there without a company of Marines at hand.

Let’s not even talk about vibrant.

I'm the same age as the Bush twins and was incredibly amused by the uproar that the fake ids/ underage drinking made by the media. Apparently, none of the journalists ever went to college..

"There's nothing 'stupid' about either of the Bush girls."

I know. I also know that there is nothing preventing intelligent people from doing stupid things. And yes, my dad came running after me with his belt after being "creatively smart and destructive" crossed a certain line. He didn't put up with it. It worked.

I'm sure two young girls could pose quite a challenge, but this is ridiculous.

Could be that. The article doesn't state the circumstances of the situation...had she left it somewhere and it got snatched, or was it on her person and somebody grabbed it? I find it hard to believe that somebody would be ballsy enough to try to snatch a purse right out from under the noses from guys who very clearly are so aware of their surroundings. I would bet that she probably left it in the booth or something and went back to find it and it be gone.

UNICEF? WTF?

My sentiments exactly. How about doing some real work abroad like helping villages get water or helping mothers with infant nutrition or something in that vein through a church for example.

UNICEF is firmly commited to abortion on demand everywhere...not exactly what these the first daughters should be supporting...

White House staffer beaten and robbed in Wikiki

Wow! I thought it was very safe there. I was there seven days and walked around by myself sometimes in the middle of the night and did not even see any problems at all. I would think that maybe people in these positions are being targeted.
