And thanks also to Robert's family for their service.....those who wait.

Thanks Luv. Robert is back in Iraq now. I've taken a few days off from the computer just trying to get my bearings and readjust. We hope to hear from him more often as he got a new laptop to take with him. When we hear from him we'll update all at the Canteen. In the meantime, prayers are up for Robert and all of our troops.

Thanks for checking in. I was wondering if he got back safely and what was happening with you and the family. Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving in spite of not having that hero there with you.
God protect him and all our heroes from harm....and send them safely home to us!

I've been staying off the computer as I somehow injured my right shoulder and typing on the keyboard is causing discomfort. I don't know how long it will take to heal, but I hope soon. It kept me up all night last night.
I have not yet checked my hotmail to see if Robert has sent any email. I'll do that shortly, and if any word from him I'll let you know. When he called from Kuwait my wife said he sounded funny. Probably feeling homesick and wishing he was back here with us. I pray to our Lord that Robert and all of our brave men and women in the Middle East and elsewhere are protected from harm and return to us in safety.

Oh, sorry 'bout your shoulder! I know how that must hurt. I had rotator cuff surgery several years ago because mine was terribly hurt. I pray it's better soon. Can't have you not being able to type!
Prayers for Robert's safety and peace of mind. I know he must be missing you all so much!

Thanks for your caring, Luv. I hope my shoulder is just muscular, and not skelatal. Muscles may take longer to heal, but usually don't require surgery. I'll type as much as I can until the discomfort is too much to bear. I should learn that I'm not as young as I use to be and cannot do the same things I did in my youth. Maybe one day I'll learn.
