leaped, lept, while either may be acceptable, it sure isn't right a double murder continues to vex us all. The only comfort I can think may offer some solace is the old saying:

"Better a hundred guilty go free than one innocent languishes in prison."

he lept at it. Did I mention I went to college?

I'm amused by the fact that in your post #99 to me, you slam Marcia Clark for her supposed "condescending lecture/closing," but in your very next post #100, you wrote the above to me. What's particularly hilarious is that your snippy condescension didn't protect you from being WRONG.

From Merriam-Webster Online:

Main Entry: leap
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): leaped or leapt /'lEpt also 'lept/; leap·ing /'lE-pi[ng]/
Etymology: Middle English lepen, from Old English hlEapan; akin to Old High German hlouffan to run
intransitive verb
1 : to spring free from or as if from the ground : JUMP
2 a : to pass abruptly from one state or topic to another b : to act precipitately
transitive verb : to pass over by leaping

Your bemoaning the lack of reasoning ability present in our society is the ultimate in condescension. Good to see you have no rebuttal for all of my relevant points.

Ah, so to you an accurate observation of the human condition is "condescension." Hmmmm...

Good to see you have no rebuttal for all of my relevant points.

To rebut "all of your relevant points" would be a waste of time. You aren't interested, as the fact that you have already pre-judged my point of view as "the ultimate in condescension" clearly demonstrates.

BTW, your inability to acknowledge your own condescension and error, which I pointed out in #103, doubles my amusement. Am I being condescending now, or merely engaging in ridicule. You figure it out.
