From now on, I'll only fly on US Airways.

I haven't been on a plane since February, 2001, but if I ever again get on a plane (doubtful) it will be US Airways (providing they don't cave to PC pressure).

Or testing it. The muzzies who flew to this conference probably scouted their airline in some way. For example, would they be able to ask for and receive seat belt extensions, even if they obviously didnt need them. Or - what would the general reaction be when they chant and pray loudly in the terminal and plane?

The passengers and employees of the airline deserve credit for a job well done.

I am especially happy about this since I am going to be flying in two weeks AND on US Air!! I am not a good flyer and am not really looking forward to it but flying does beat driving for 20 hours!

They requested seat belt extension straps- the stewardess refused, saying they weren't heavy enough to need them.

If they are able to learn flying airliners in our own flight schools, why shouldn't they be able to get seat belt extension (to use as weapons) from our own flight crews?

We were just on a flight from Orlando to JFK with my daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandsons. My daughter(a very nervous flyer) noticed a guy at the next ticket counter with no checked baggage, very jittery, 1 way ticket and PAYING cash. She freaked. The ticket agent was gone for quite awhile after taking his cash. When she returned and gave him his ticket my daughter asked his desitnation(denied) and did they check him out....they were.

When we reaced our gate we searced for him but never saw him again. Don't know if he was denied boarding. My daughter was ready to fly another airline and my son-in-law would have accomadated her(sp?). This all happened on Jet Blue.

Seatbelt extentions can be used to strangle someone. We know how strong they are, they are designed to hold our whole body in our seat in case of emergency!
Also the two ends of the belt are metal and can hurt badly if you are hit in the face, head, etc.
How do I know this, I am a Flight Attendant!!

Actually, I'm sure their goal is to "soften" the enemy by making him (us)more hesitant to question the likes of these bastards the next time, and the next time and the next....it will make their next big attack a lot easier.
