- The International Herald Tribune reported that Ahmadinejad described U.S. President George W. Bush as "evil," adding that justice requires that Iran face down U.S. arrogance.

- USA Today reported that the 35-nation board of the U.N. nuclear agency effectively agreed Wednesday to deny Iran technical help in building a plutonium-producing reactor — at least for now.
