This is an interesting manipulation. The text is all infomative and supportive, but the pictures are all horrifying and Vietnamesque.

seems they learned from the Reagan years.

The medium is the message.

Blood on the page is the message.

A happy smile is bad for democrats.

Seems the only good DBM is the extinct DBM.

We have to figure out a way to make the MSM cease to exist.

How do we give ABCCBSNBC a zero rating in a financially catastrophic way?

Sounds like Allen is running for the Senate seat Warner has now when Warner retires in two years. I wish him luck, but I have serious doubts about his ability to run a senate campaign after this last one against Webb And onto yet another topic: who will make the Superbowl?

I read it today, It was a pretty positive article actually about the medical care our tropps receive.

There was one amazing stat that caught my eye and it relates tot he incessant negative news the MSM spews.

This is a direct quote from the article:

"Amputation - As of September 15, 2006, 468 soldiers have lost a limp; 78 have lost more than one"

As much as it saddend me than ny soldier has lost a limb, this number is far lower than what I expected based on the MDM reporting. I expected it to be in the thousands. Just another example of the MSM effort to only report the bad news.

I agree the article was positive. The graphics however, screamed fear and death.

Sad to admit it, but they had me convinced of that too.

How often does National geographic have a poll with an article?

Bastards. If you're anti-war, don't use the soldiers you don't give a damn about as your arguement you grave robbing bastards.

Don't war zones generally involve "fear and death"?

" Don't war zones generally involve "fear and death"?"

Many folks don't have the stomach for the reality of war and prefer a sanitized version be proffered in their media.

Nat. Geog. used to be slick, urbane and at least quasi-scientific. Sorry to say, it has become just another liberal rag. My subscription went unrenewed about 4 years ago due to their unrelenting apologetics for global warming and evolution. Zero credibility left. Soon, they'll just be preaching to the choir.

Don't buy any product you see advertised on any MSM program, write the sponsors and tell them why you and your family and friends aren't buying their product/service.

In the forum I couldn't help notice the care and concern some have for the soldier. As usual the modern liberal who years ago spat on the soldier and today denies it ever happened; today exploits the hardship and carnage of war for their ideological purpose and to bash the Bush administration. Sick-</p>

I used to subscribe to National Geographic because it was very good. But about 15 years ago, I noticed EVERY issue pictured at least one dead person or dead animal in it. I started calling it "Dead Animal and Dead People" magazine and dropped my subscription. Death is a reality, but this magazine is obsessed with death.
