As sad a senseless death as that was, you are correct. It turned into a three ring circus. I wasn't a big fan of hers, but I was sorry to hear of her death.

The vacant addoration was so over the top it's pointless to address. Someone will come unglued and attack. My wife among them... LOL.

I have a very low tolerence for public people who glom on to events like this to enhance the experience to the point of absurdity. Bill Clinton is an excellent case in point.

Who appointed that numbskull to be the chief 'Eugooglyizer' for the nation?

"Imagine"

The title says it all. It could have easily been "What If?" or "If Only"........Feh.

My lyrics to "Imagine":

Imagine there's no heaven,
It isn't hard to tell
No heaven above us,
Below us only Hell......

I had a friend of mine that always said the song Imagine is a chickensh!t song.

I could not agree more.

So Elton's mad because Christians believe in morality?

They never quite get it that the morality Christians profess is for the salvation of the soul. The supreme act of love.

It's a totally dopey song, and I find the thought of Elton John to be a near occasion of sin.

All of us deserve condemnation, except by the unmerited grace of God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ (says the well-catechised Christian), but the mother of five little boys would like to see E.J. in hell.

And the British Crown Knighted this guy?

Sir Winston Churchill must be rolling in his grave.

I imagine (No pun intended) that this kind of nonsense is going to get worse before it gets better.

Thank goodness we have our faith that will help us wade through this kind of garbage.

Good Morning!

Imagine no possessions/I wonder if you can

Imagine if the Beatles had given all their wealth away? Funny isn't it? The very song that extolls no possessions certainly awarded Lennon many.

I agree, because the more this behavior is celebrated, the more it spreads.

If they didn't know they were doing wrong, they wouldn't be so pathologically sensitive to disapproval. What's a Christian going to do to someone like Elton John, or Andrew Sullivan? Sigh, pray for their conversion (and keep her sons as far away as possible). Is it the last point, that really upsets them?

I think when people like Elton John really look deep into their soul, they are gonna find a mess.

You can also bet that as they lay dying, they will seek the Lord's forgiveness. And he will grant it.

They will come to that crossroads eventually.

When Elton sang to Kiki Dee:

Don't go breaking my heart.

Kiki said:

I couldn't if I tried.

Nuff said!

"Faggots know they are wrong and will not/cannot 'win'"

Not in eternity! But they might win on this Earth.

But faggots, adulterers, and thieves will all burn in hell one day, reguardless of their riches on Earth! God will punish the fags and the people who have sex outside of marriage (or those who divorce and remarry). He will smite them all, make no doubt about it.

Anyone who is reading my post and wants to be forgiven, PM me so I can teach you how you can enter the kingdom of heaven.
