Correct you are and many Arab leaders during moments of candor have admitted that they encouraged, even calling those who stayed as collaborators, palestinian arabs to leave. In fact many neighbors of both religions helped each other ride through the crisis. If caught both Arab residents and Jewish residents would be killed by the rampaging arabs.

Been around long enough to know the difference between educating and blowin horns... Attitude problems generally don't start unless provoked. The fact that you, and the other guy up the thread needed to tell me I was wrong when I did not even ask you, is provocation IMHO especially they way you said it. Especially you. Find error, bring it to my attention and offer NOTHING in educating me or anyone else.

I'll be looking for that book tomorrow too. Here's and old book that clears up a lot of misconceptions about South Africa. The Washing of the Spears by Donald Morris. 1965. It's a bear to read but worthwhile.
