What odds this whole thing was preplanned at their meeting? Just a guess...very high. That was my first thought. Who knows? Planning the incident could have been the main reason for the meeting (doffing my tin foil hat now)

When you learn the details that the kicked off imams insisted on not sitting together and that some had one way tickets, what else is the airline supposed to do?
This could be a pre-major attack psych opp, to dull our defenses and permit a new crop of hijackers to get our planes.
