You sure started a firestorm. In 1994 we saw the rejection of new deal liberalism. Now we are witnessing the rejection of turn-back-the-clock to the 1800's conservatism, and a lot of folks here don't like it. Their normative proscriptions are as irrelevant to modern day problems as the old-time machine politics liberals are.

Folks around here need to get a clue. It isn't that they don't like liberals telling them what to do. They don't like anyone with their hands on the levers of power telling them what to do.

Thanks very much for your support... Basically when I post here, that's what I intend to do. It disturbs me that there's people around here who don't seem able to get out of others bedrooms. If single women or gay couples want to have children and are loving parents who provide for their children, I don't seem the harm in them having kids. Nor do I see the harm in women wishing to have careers rather than providing for their kids...

(P.S. Sorry for the cranky post earlier. It takes me so much time to go through my responses when I'm trying to be provocative that it's hard to determine who is a supporter and who isn't).
