Now there's an understatement.
Pat Cadell is one Dem I have at least a modicum of respect for. He was one of the few during the Bubba impeachment fiasco who was almost as disgusted as our side.

Pat looks like one of Henson's muppets but I always liked his analysis and as you say, he is usually right on. I like the guy because he is one of the last honest liberals.
Pat's only flaw is that he backed Carter. So did my parents, ONCE, but Pat still does. :-)
Liberal he may be, but he usually is a man of sense and if he was the main man the Democrats turned to for advice the Dems would have picked up more seats. Infact, they might never have dug themselves a hole to begin with.
I'll bet anyone even money that the gop does not regain the senate in 2008.
