LOL, the libs are already trying to explain away the legacy that is already being written. Like it or not (and there are many on this board pretending to be "conservatives" who won't like it) the man is already a legand. His ratings are down but considering the constant effort of the media it's amazing that his ratings are as high as they are.
As to the deficit, anyone with an IQ above room temperature will be able to figure out that....terrorist attack plus war equals trouble and that congress controls the purse strings.
Yep, this president is going to be a hero whether those who hate him like it or not.

Apparently Congress never allocated a buck for even a cheap pen made in China the President could have used to veto the appropriation bills they passed. Worse yet, he never thought to buy a veto pen with his own money. Oh wait! My mistake. He signed every one of the appropriation bills. Guess he had a pen afterall.

Legacy? It's mixed to be sure. Yes, the economic damage of 9/11 was amazingly minimized but he's been a wild spender, given up on major issues like social security, exploded the size of mediscare, expanded federal gov't, tried to push amnesty, left the borders open, abdicated his responsibility to veto, harmed the GOP more than helped it ... the legacy of Iraq is still 10, 20 maybe 50 years off. Sure, the Butcher of Baghdad is set for execution, his homicidal sons are dead... but it's far from a done deal. Russian's looking suspicious, Iran is crazy as ever and North Korea gives one cause for concern.
Let's not count those chickens before they hatch.

Nobody liked Lincoln in his lifetime either. Nobody.
I'd like to see the bulk of the W library be online.
But do you know where it should be? Not in Texas. In NYC.
