CHICAGO — A public Christmas festival is no place for the Christmas story, the city says. Officials have asked organizers of a downtown Christmas festival, the German Christkindlmarket, to reconsider using a movie studio as a sponsor because it is worried ads for its film "The Nativity Story" might offend non-Christians.

I am not a Christian but yet I'm offended by Christians being put down - most especially at Christmas which is a CHRISTIAN holiday (and yes I do celebrate Christmas).

Isn't Chicago mostly black..and aren't those blacks Muslim.. Don't they celebrate Mohamed's birthday..That could be one of the reasons that Christmas will be canceled there..You know people should fight this or move some place where it can't happen...I am getting sick of these few Muslims,Atheist or what ever telling the people of this country that we can't celebrate the birth of Christ...

Actually I suspect a very high portion of the black population of Chicago are Christian, and are as offended by this as whites are.
