A graphologist would likely have a field day with that oddly controlled, almost stylized block printing of his, with the childish little lower case "i," dotted with precise little circles. He professed to despise technology, but seems to be trying to mimic LED numbers. That's not his usual writing style--he disguised it for the occasion.

Many leftists are motivated also by hostility, but the hostility probably results in part from a frustrated need for power.
Agreed.
____________
Do you remember when Rush Limbaugh did a quiz, he read 2 quotes, one from "Earth in the Balance" and one from the Unabomber manifesto. Each time, you would have sworn the more level-headed one was a quote from Gore's book, sure enough, it was the Unabomber.
Then he would read something so radical, so outrageous, so off the wall that you would say, that HAS to be the Unabomber, and Rush would say, "Sorry, that's your vice-president".

> Yeah, he's an extremely complex individual. I wonder what his IQ is.
I suspect, greater than my own.
I haven't read it all, but it is not what I expected.
I guess insanity and brilliance sometimes go hand in hand.
It's a shame the the insanity part got the best of him.

Most people will agree that nature is beautiful; certainly it has tremendous popular appeal. Wow, I will have to check this nature thing out sometime. Thanks, Ted!

If I recall correctly, he had a genius level IQ and an Ivy League education, with much better grades and no daddy's a senator help than Al Gore.
This is what happens when you mix genius/mental illness with a true believer mentality of the socialist utopia nonsense they teach you in college.

Agreed. I'm not saying that I agree with him, just that this is certainly not your average thread on DU.

No thanks. The pos is exactly where he belongs. He put a bomb in the building I was headed to have a class in (U of U Business) in 81 that the squad disarmed (and no, I was an engineering major). He should be taken to the desert and dropped down a vertical mine shaft.

I spent many hours with the Febbies discussing this creep, it was my guess he was a White Male, formerly associated with a University and probably had an EEOC compliant against him.
I even went so far as to guess that he wasn't a prof at this time, but lived in a one room apartment over a bowling alley or something like that.
Close, but no cigar.

Truely a man with too much time on his hands and a strong sense of projecting his own mental and emotional dysfunction on the rest of society.

Yah, I'm a FReekin genius too, MENSA, One-in-a-million. Woo Hoo! So what? I don't outright murder folks because of it. I'm merely annoying. And, I cook a hell of a barbecue. Kill 'em with kindness I guess.

So, the conclusion of all this "deep" thinking leads this guy to send letter bombs to random people...?
What an ass*ole! Fry the idiot!

A person should not harm others, unless it is in self-defense.
This guy was absolutely full of hate for many people and very misguided.
I could not imagine him just wanting to go out on a date and having a good time.

I see a lot of Algore, a dash of Any Rand, a hint of even Mark Steyn...
Add a dollop of Micheal Rivero. Sprinkle generously with Paul Craig Roberts, and serve!
