called a profess conference the day before the election
and told the press that their constant battering of
the Congress and Senate has caused excessive hearings that
show bias and my resignation is their wish..so be it.. Jake
Perhaps Rumsfeld doesn't consider himself a political operative and he wouldn't act without the President's ok in any case. He was not the Republican Secretary of Defense but Secretary of Defense of the United States.
The bottom line is the Treason Media still has too much influence and it allowed the Party of Treason to paint the GOP as Right Wing nutcases and itself as Moderate-Conservative.
I am astonished that Republicans can get elected anywhere at anytime given the power of this media still.
Another few years of undermining it will be required before the Conservative movement will progress much further.
That's not a plausible scenario and IF done, would have lost the GOP even more votes.
