Very true, it makes our side look, well, ignorant. What we CAN say abou the global warming hysterics is that this proves them to be, well, hysterical. I believe in global warming, I just don't believe in the hysteria.
Yes. But, using those natural cycles as a political tool, as the global socialists have done, is a stroke of evil genus!
True, but as the cycle continues "the evil genius" looks like an idiot.
True, but as the cycle continues "the evil genius" looks like an idiot.
Maybe, but those evil geniuses are looking like idiots this past hurricane season
I love that movie!
It never grows old
"I am Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!"
= P
It's called doublethink. Really, really, really intelligent people can do it. /s
There's a line that my kids love.
Venzinni has just finished berating Fessik played by Andre the Giant. To cheer him up...Inigo initiates a rhyming game with Fessik.
Venzinni gets mad and says," Stop rhyming and I mean'ut!"
Andre the Giant says, "Do you want a peanut!"
Anyway...everytime the kids hear that line they are rolling on the floor laughing hysterically.
Bad News for Global Warming Alarmists
It's been a bad year for Global Warming Alarmists.
Researchers are finding more and more evidence of natural warming events in the earth's past, events that were far more rapid and dramatic than first thought. Several scientists, disgusted with the media's refusal to carry their mesage accurately, have begun writing letters and books.
Even the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which has long been the most vocal supporter of climate alarmism, has finished its Fourth Assessment report, which lowers worst case estimates sharply, and cuts in half long-term predictions for sea level rise.
Evidence of the beneficial aspects of continues to mount, with arctic seal populations increasing, longer growing seasons, and less extreme temperature swings.
Is it any wonder environmentalists are getting even more emotional in the debate?

A Skeptic's Take on Global Warming ...(the greatest deception in the history of science.)

"Exactly why are the world's biggest polluters allowed to sign Kyoto but are completely free of all aspects of the Kyoto protocol and its wealth transfer scheme, is it because they are Communists?"
http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=19409
Not only are the main beneficiaries of the Kyoto accord free from from the CO2 producing restrictions of this scam, they all will become (if not already) the worlds heaviest polluters and producers of CO2 emissions within 10 years.
Russia for example, will be bringing on line many petroleum and gas refineries, making it the worlds second largest oil exporting country. How Russia managed to position itself- considering it was a major polluter before the soviet Unions collapse- as a country with excess green credits that it will be selling to Europe and western countries like Canada, receiving billions in transfer payments Is the scam of all scams.
Why people are so blind to the idiocy of this accord if largely the media's fault, as they have been promoting this silliness from the beginning, damning anyone who opposes it while stifling the voices of those in the scientific community who flatly reject the "science" being claimed to support this false premise.
It wouldn't be the firt time MSM hid the workings of communist countries, and hid their attempts to disrupt and destroy western economies and policies.
At the United Nations, the Curious Career of Maurice Strong
Strong, now 77, is best known as the godfather of the environmental movement, who served from 1973-1975 as the founding director of the U.N. Environment Program (UNEP) in Nairobi. UNEP is now a globe-girdling organization with a yearly budget of $136 million, which claims to act as the worlds environmental conscience. Strong consolidated his eco-credentials as the organizer of the U.N.s 1992 environmental summit in Rio de Janeiro, which in turn paved the way for the controversial 1997 Kyoto Treaty on controlling greenhouse gas emissions.
But his green credentials scarcely begin to do justice to Strongs complicated back-room career. He has spent decades migrating through a long list of high-level U.N. posts, standing behind the shoulder of every U.N. secretary-general since U Thant . Without ever holding elected office, he has had a hand in some of the worlds most important bureaucratic appointments, both at the U.N. and at the World Bank. A Canadian wheeler-dealer with an apple face and pencil mustache, Strong has parlayed his personal enthusiasms and connections into a variety of huge U.N. projects, while punctuating his public service with private business deals.
Along the way, Strong has also been caught up in a series of U.N. scandals and conflicts of interest.
