He's gotta get the VP spot next time. That's the way the DNC is looking at it.
No way. I wish freepers would quit saying this. It makes us all look stupid.

Please tell me exactly what a black VP brings to the rat party. The black vote? Like they don't have that already? Get real. This guy is going absolutely nowhere. He's a lightweight and a loser.

If you're thinking about rat vp, concentrate on the real threat: Richardson.

Nobody played the Christ card like Harold Ford, Jr. Didn't get him elected.

True, but this Obama fellow is so slick he makes Ford look like a backwoods hick.

While you and I disagree, I'm not "stupid". Unlike, the liberals, let's agree to be polite to one another.

The Dems need him on the ticket. Hillary/Obama it will be.

In November, 2% of black voters strayed. That number will only inflate. Dems must do something, black Christians are losing a sense of being a part of a party whose elite attack Christians as "nuts" on a regular basis.

Obama doesn't bring Christianity to the ticket but he's going around telling Dems to lay off Christians. His "star quality" projected by the MSM will change the subject. The first blackman as possible President will be the issue, not the Dems/ACLU position on religion.

I think that makes a lot of sense.

I absolutely agree with you. It is going to be a Hillary/Barack ticket in '08. That's one of the reasons she has been under wraps for the last few weeks in order for him to get all of the attention without it seeming like they are competing. He is young enough to accept the second spot with plans to eventually run himself after their two terms (UGH.). It would also give him some much needed (shall I say it?)....GRAVITAS. The whole thing is being carefully staged by the clintoon camp.

First of all, I didn't call you stupid, I said it makes us all look stupid. To me that's a big difference. If you don't see the difference, fine. I withdraw the comment and apologize. I shouldn't have said anything about any of us being or looking stupid. Seriously. I take it back.

However, I do think you are absolutely wrong that The Lightweight Kid is going to be on the ballot. As you pointed out, only 2% of the black voters strayed. What you failed to mention is that the black vote in total is only 10%.

What's the new demographic? Where are the real votes?

It's not black votes the rats are worried about. Whether they have 90% or 95% or 98% of a 10% group... what the hell's the difference there?

It's the Hispanic vote that matters. They'd be fools not to court what's a natural constituency for them and though they are definitely traitors they are mostly not fools.

Somebody/Richardson

That's their ticket. And I'm not convinced the Somebody at the top of that ticket is going to be The Beast.

I'm certain, however, it won't be Lightweight Boy.

Here in Michigan, in the last election, if the Dems did not receive 90% of the black vote (they did) the Democratic Governor, Granholm would have lost in a mini landslide. While the black vote is not especially large, it is crucial to the Democratic Party.

Yes, I agree, the future is in the Hispanic vote. But in 2008 the Dems have NO CHANCE to capture the White House if a significant portion of the Black vote strays or stays home (i.e. 4% or more).

To me, that means Obama is the VP. Where was he this week? Speaking at mega churches. Talking to black ministers. It adds up.

But like Rush asked " what has he done?"
He is like bob Casey, an empty suit who rode into office on a wave of media propaganda.
Like Hiliary, the more he talks the more people SHOULD come to beleive that he is an idiot...Should being the key word..

You know, I hope you're right. If the Beast tops the ticket, the rats are headed for disaster. If the Lightweight Kid is second-spotted, it means double disaster for the rats.

I just don't think the rats are that stupid. But I hope they are. I sincerely hope a Beast/Lightweight ticket is what we're up against in '08. If it is, we get to run the most conservative candidate we can find.

Yeah, of course he's a zero. An empty suit. But there's an advantage in that: the Dem pimp media will fill that suit. It's already started. Somebody ghost-wrote an "autobiography" it's number one this week in the NY TIMES.

He's parading around as some kind of serious Christian; nonsense, of course. But we need to understand the MSM is still very powerful. Look what they did to George "macacca" Allen. He went from the "coming man" to nobody.

Don't underestimate the media. The MSM is deifying this guy. Oprah, TODAY, Larry King; it's going to be their two-year project. It has the added advantage of keeping Hillary in the background until primary time.

The push is on.

How many evangelical Christians you know sporting the middle name "Hussein"?

Before I listen to a single word this guy says, I want to personally accompany him to a Church dinner and watch him eat an entire plate of barbecued pork with a second helping of baked ham.

At that point, I'll only consider him a lying Liberal, at best.

Obama is very liberal. Among his campaign contributors are George Soros, People for the American Way, pro-abortion groups and teacher’s unions. Soros got his money's worth from Obama, who turned out redmeat antiwar quotations during the run-up to Operation Iraqi Freedom. At an October 2002 antiwar rally, he repeated the false "economy and war" canard of fanatical antiwar liberals. Obama said:

"I don't oppose all wars…What I am opposed to is the attempt by political hacks like Karl Roves to distract us from a rise in the uninsured, a rise in the poverty rate, a drop in the median income...to distract us from corporate scandals and a stock market that has just gone through the worst month since the Great Depression."

When confronted with this quotation by Tim Russert on "Meet the Press," Obama shrugged it off, not choosing to repeat its conspiracy theories. Russert uncharacteristically did not press the issue. But the quotation would seem to indicate Obama's inclination to parrot the Michael Moore Left. (link)

The media hype is at fever pitch about Barack Obama, and we really know so little about this person – the Muslim factor is being left out for starters…………..

The evangelical vote is not only a large vote, it's a smart, well-informed vote. He won't fool very many evangelicals!

Yes dont underestimate the MSM, but most of all, dont think that America is ready for a Hiliary -Obama ticket. Every time she speaks, she comes off like the shrew she is, a mean, backstabbing vindictive woman who would crawl over the body of anybody who egts in her way. Obama, from what I have heard, is, as Chuck Knoll described the Oakland Raiders" the criminal element" of the polical scene.
The GOP have to go back to the roots. The conservative people that made the party strong. I, Like many others, are sick of the weak willed type in the party. I would be favor of a purge of ALL rinos and Moderate Repubilcians fromthe party.
IT IS TIME TO TAKE BACK THE GOP>>>>>>

His middle name is irrelevant. There are many other aspects to this man that are distasteful, and to focus on his middle name, which he did not choose, shows a lack of thought on our side. He's a liberal and we reject him for being a phony and an empty suit.

Well said. The alleged impact of Obama's middle name is over with in about two seconds but his straight-jacket liberalism will last forever.
