This is nothing more than the tactics they hammered out not long ago. Posts around here detailed their conclusions from a special summit where they identified God, Guns and Guts as something the voters "perceived" the RATs were lacking. So, they have been trying to add the mysterious magic ingredients to be more palatable to their consumer audience. They now pray and cite the Bible, they talk damn tough manly talk and, most noticeably, they don't talk about guns. In fact, Serpent Head was equated as saying that if any RAT politician talked about guns, he'd "shoot them." For my money, I'd take their shallow lies and cram them down their throats. If Pubbies want to make some points, introduce legislation that hits all of these points strongly in advances the freedoms, rights and traditions behind the American values of God, guns and guts. In this way, the RAT b@st@rds can be backlit for easy targeting. Force them to comply with the repeal of onerous gun laws. Scare them into expanding the freedoms of Christian activism. Extort them into increasing military expenditures through the downsizing of social programs. Twist their cowardice and posturing to use their own feeble legs to kick themselves in the @ss. Of course, all of this would mean that Pubbies would have to actually support God, gun rights and national defense as well. Oh well...
