Are we ever going to prosecute leakers? The Dept. of Justice needs to haul these reporters in and throw them in jail if they don't reveal their sources.

'Are we ever going to prosecute leakers"?
Only when it is bad for the rats.
Otherwise the leakers are doing what is right for the country revealing the evil doings of the unelected, fascist, imperialistic, warmongering, totalitarian Bush regime and should be given medals as soon as the real Americans return to power using whatever means they can....for the country.
But for now the resistance will undermine wherever they can.

Are we ever going to prosecute leakers? No. Expect two years of "more of the same".

Are we ever going to prosecute leakers? The Dept. of Justice needs to haul these reporters in and throw them in jail if they don't reveal their sources. Dana Priest, one of the most feted recipients of leaks at the DC Bureau of Pravda, was on CSPAN yesterday, speaking to an assembly of lawyers. I listened for the first few minutes then had to change the channel. During that time, her key point was that newspapers must cover leaks because it is "essential to democracy."
So now you know. Ms. Priest sees herself not as a mere reporter, but as an essential cog in the wheel of democracy.

Until we get a leader that is willing to STOP the LEAKS dead in their tracks, and send the 'enemy within' to prison or death, we will NEVER win this war or any other war.
I have supported President Bush and I have no regrets for this. I'm one of those Bushbots that many of the slobbering bugs like to bash.
BUT, President Bush has lost most of my respect and admiration for not going after the leakers of CLASSIFIED information. These leakers are no different than spies and should be dealt with accordingly....regardless of political party or status.

The DOJ is too busy going after pictures of girls in bikinis on the Internet to worry about "little" problems like this. If this report is true, I will wait and see, all I can say is WOW. This is a huge story if true.

Like Hell.
Tell them to reveal their sources, or otherwise prepare for a final cigarette and a blindfold, line 'em up against the wall and Pop Goes The Weasel.
It's wartime, and leaking classified information which could benefit the enemy and/or damage the national security of the United States should be an automatic death penalty.

What if those leaking were a little bit too close to the administration or it would cause embarrassment to somebody quite a ways up the chain?
People are prosecuted for leaking, make no mistake, however there are times where administrations find it in their best interest not to go after some leaks.
