How about just killing them? I doubt that you're going to change their minds, so if you don't kill them, then you're just working up a plan for a mutually acceptable level of violence that will go on forever. No thanks.
We should have deeply covert ops killing off these Saudi royals who are funding this crap with their oil money. I think their minds can be changed because they enjoy the life their wealth buys them. It won't be such a game when they start getting their asses "blowed up real good".
The approach to find a middle ground is typically Western, Christian. Agreed that it won't work. Anybody studying the history of their relationship with the West can see this repeatedly. The problem is nobody reads the history nor tries to understand their cult. I would prefer they not be allowed to emigrate anywhere in the West, and those already here, sent packing. Keep them penned in to their own 7th century $h#%holes and watched carefully. The only way to keep them in check is with a military machine ready to destroy them anywhere in the world, at anytime. Sort of "the boot on their neck" method, ready to strike. It is all they understand.
