TOWSON, Md. A Maryland woman is being held on two (m) million dollars' bail after police say she rammed her pickup truck into a boy being pushed in a stroller.
Police say Lazara Arellano De Hogue dragged the child for three-quarters of a mile, killing him.
De Hogue is been charged with hit and run, and police say additional charges are pending.
Authorities say De Hogue slammed her Dodge Ram into three-year-old Elijah Cozart and his grandmother on a busy street in Towson Friday afternoon.
Police say the stroller became trapped in the undercarriage of the truck, but that De Hogue did not stop until the boy fell to the pavement on a side street closer to her apartment.
De Hogue has a bail review scheduled for Monday.
This is a great story for Paul Harvey.

I suspect the "rest of the story" is right there in her name. I said the same thing when the other one killed those two - including the young Marine - last week over in Howard County. I'll bet that's the case again - another illegal - and the story will be "Move along, folks. Nothin' to see here."
Police say De Hogue kept driving with the stroller trapped in the undercarriage of her truck for about three-quarters of a mile.
Then she got out, removed the stroller, and drove home.
Witnesses helped police track down De Hogue. She was arrested and interviewed with the help of a Spanish-language interpreter.
Uhm - Am I missing something? What would "the rest of the story" be? I'm having a hard time understanding why anything about this terrible story about the dragging death of a little boy in a stroller would bring something funny to mind?
I think they mean 'the rest of the story' is the woman who hit the child is probably an ILLEGAL.

I didn't see anything in the news story stating/suggesting the killer (yes, that's what she is IMO) doesn't speak English, and didn't even see it in the comment immediately before mine until just now.). I went looking for more info on the story in other news articles, but found the same copy so went ahead and clicked Post.
I don't listen to Paul Harvey's clips/stuff so still don't "get it." Is he an illegal apologist? This is just a terrible story that had me praying for the little boy's grandmother.
My prayers to the grandmother also.To witness something that horrible would crush anyone's soul.

Accident, running away, Hispanic name..........all those indicators have become the norm for illegal.
Prayers for this poor child and his family. I don't care if this women is illegal, can't speak english etc. This is just so sad ...How can someone be so rotten and cruel. I hope she gets a very long time in jail with some really mean cellmates.
I tell you, it's time for a class action suit against the Govt of Mexico, and our own federal government for that matter.
I had the same reaction.... How can you just continue home AFTER you see you hit a stroller?????
