To: Nasty McPhilthy

This is the one thing I am angry with GWB over...why doesn't he shout this kind of thing from the roof tops??? He has to know more than even this article says, you would think he would want the democrats to eat crow! Not to mention this kind of thing would have made a difference in the elections!

The last 2/3rds of this article is outstanding.

This policy of retreating from claims of terrorist ties and WMD finds has been the one aspect of the Bush Administration's war on terror that has been absolutely unfathomable. It is ignorance on their part, probably gross negligence, I think, and I have been a Bush supporter and will remain one.

This article points at some kind of complicity between Rumsfeld (DOD), State, and CIA. My guess is that the senior civilians in those departments did such a poor job that any revelations would be considered gross negligence and would require them to forfeit their jobs.

Pres. Bush's ratings as president would still be above 50% if he'd kept the country informed on ties between terrorists, Iraq, and WMDs.
