>> I notice that those of their ilk use law to replace the need for morality.
Good observation. At least, so long as they agree with the law they use to justify themselves!
But to use statutory law this way is to confess that they either don't know right from wrong, or are willing to do evil if it's legal (or if they run no legal risk). This is ironic. Until recently, -- and no doubt still so today in some jurisdictions, -- not knowing right from wrong was the LEGAL definition of criminal insanity!
The thinking is, if a person is incapable of understanding that he is committing a criminal act, he cannot be tried for the crime. He IS, however, locked away in a padded cell, so that he can't do it again.
Those who hide behind statutory law to justify immorality are candidates for that padded cell. They don't know right from wrong.

In remembrance of Terri's birthday bttt.
Is this going to be Dec. Dailies or special thread only? I have news about Attorney Mark Adams. He has a hearing tomorrow about his situation w/Judge Crockett Farnell and Battaglia Law Firm (cristonists).
ATTORNEY MARK ADAMS: Hearing scheduled for 12/5/2006 at 09:30 AM at Tampa, FL - Courtroom 8A, Sam M. Gibbons Courthouse, 801 N. Florida Avenue.
(after action report has been requested).
Back to the thread. Monsignor Malanowski is a great man.
Finally, my mom is doing better! Thanks for all your prayers.

8mmMauser: We are countering an effort by the far left and allies to install a program of euthanasia. highball: Which is a political agenda.
So was our war against the Hitler's eugenics program a "political agenda"? Because most of Western Civilization considers it one of the Twentieth Century's noblest acts.

Free Republic had their own table at Terri's 40th Birthday Party. Our theme was a Daniel Webster cloth doll,"Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Terri's Forty" and a printout of titles of approx. 600 FR threads was displayed there. There were thousands of posts. A & E hung out at the FR table cuz we had peppermint lifesavers.
A Terri supporter from out of state sent a giant bouquet of fancy flowers which served as the centerpiece of the Freeper table and were presented to the Schindlers when the gathering was over.

Lula, Terri's Legacy is saving lives. How the machine operates is being revealed in bits and pieces and more good folks will join the fight against euthanasia - and what a machine it is.
In our favor is that we all came together from all quarters as people with different talents and abilities. In our own ways, we shall not rest because the machine does not.
Terri changed my life. God Bless her memory.

We are showing respect in memory of Terri and in my case, my admiration for her parents and siblings shall never cease. They are excellent role models for faith and strength under fire.

Elian was kidnapped right from Florida right before Easter, drugged and whisked back to Fidel for indoctrination. Janet Reno liked raids, no?

The real investigation was spiked. The person who spiked it will likely get a new position in our next governor's cabinet.

I left grassroots activism after Tom Gallagher lost the race for governor. I'm not here for any political or social agenda. I happen to know right from wrong. I hope that's enough of a reason for me to be on this thread.
Hunger is widespread around the globe. It is wrong wherever it is occurring.
It shouldn't happen in America and remember that first, Judge Greer took Terri's rehab monies and handed them to death lawyers. Terri was robbed first.

Some folks here don't know the Florida Statutes, not even the judges.
Some posters are quick to mention the rule of law. They are from the george greer school of thought which is the highest of insult.

Who exactly are "the Hitler's" in your example? I don't follow that sentence.
Are you referring to Adolph Hitler? We're not talking about military goals in a war here. We're talking about every citizen's right to work towards change the laws of our nation and influence public policy. Which is by definition a political agenda.
I don't see why some people are getting so hung up on that term. I imply nothing perjoritive by it. It's simply descriptive.

Judge Greer broke numerous laws. Yet wimpy Jeb Bush (or anyone else in Florida) did nothing.

Speaking of governors: Florida's governor elect Charlie Crist announced today that in 2005, HATE CRIMES were down in Florida. (but there was always that exclusionary clause regarding Terri Schiavo) sarcasm tag
HEADS UP: Floridians have four years of heinous spin to endure. I guess that was a sampling. CC was a lousy AG.

I think a problem here is a hang-up on words. This is a thread on tribute to Terri and not on semantics and I hope you are careful not to fall into the trap I mention perhaps too much in such threads. But I am repeating it here for clarity.
As you say, "words mean something". They sure do to liberals who use the words as tools, not necessarily for their essence. Liberals tend to project their own fears and trepidations into words cast upon their perceived opponents. Hence, my analogy, Haters call people they hate haters.
This manner of logic is common to liberal thought process and is used ad nauseum, an easy technique to pick up unwittingly. So when you were describing our motives in your posts, perhaps without realizing, you were echoing the thought processes of the left. In so doing, you found posters here who recognized the syntax as if blazing on a neon sign. It sounds out of place here to engage a tilt with words as so many other threads are available for that exercise.
This is a more solemn one, a tribute to Terri.
