As usual, this is true in practical terms. I think maybe the best way any constitutionalist conservative could help push politics in the right direction would be to start up a fringe-left party to suck the moonbat vote away from the Dims.
Don't mistake me - I think the Constitution party's principles are on target. I'd gladly vote for their candidate in a race where they have a shot. I'm just a bit tired of a "stand on principles" always translating into "and so the people diametrically opposed to everything we stand for are now in power."

The CP needs to focus on state house races and lower. If they did that for the next 30 years, then, we could actually see the rise of a conservative party. But to run for Prez now is simply foolhardly. Nothing that is foolhardy can be considered conservative.
