Muslim-American Group Targets Radio Host Over Koran Oath Comments(ROP ALERT)

WASHINGTON — A Muslim-American advocacy group has called on radio talk show host Dennis Prager to be removed from the governing board of the federally-funded U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum after Prager last week blasted a representative-elect for planning to use the Koran at his swearing-in next month.

Prager, who is Jewish, slammed Minnesota Democrat Keith Ellison, the first Muslim to be elected to the U.S. Congress, after Ellison announced he plans to have his oath of office photo taken with the Koran, not the Christian Bible, as is tradition.

"Insofar as a member of Congress taking an oath to serve America and uphold its values is concerned, America is interested in only one book, the Bible," he wrote in a column titled, "America, Not Keith Ellison, Decides What Book a Congressman Takes His Oath On."

"If you are incapable of taking an oath on that book, don't serve in Congress," Prager wrote, adding that using the Koran "undermines American civilization."

The Washington, D.C.-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) issued a statement Monday calling for Prager's ouster from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council, the museum's advisory council...

More intolerance from the Religion of Peace. Say one thing in disagreement with the muzzies, and you have to be silenced. Freedom and Islam cannot coexist.

Praeger should be elevated to President, and then build a new wing to show the close collaboration between the Muslims and the Nazis during WWII.

That would be a good idea. I've only been to the Holocaust museum once, and I don't remember a section devoted to Nazi collaborators and sympathizers. Such an exhibit is long past due, if it doesn't already exist.

This better no start happening in this country or the ACLU, and all the liberal clergy will be crying about a full assault by the civilized citizens of this country against anything, cultural, or religious that resembles Islam(IsHam).

I am not as worried that he will use the Koran as I am that in a few years he will be taking the oath on a Christians' severed head. Nice job Minnesota, I guess the Iron Sheik had a rasslin' match and was unable to get his candidacy papers filed in time.

Personally, I think the oath comments are a lot of rubbish. The problem is not that these guys won't swear on the Bible. The problem is that we should not elect muslims to Congress in the first place.

They are trying to kill us.

Basically, electing this guy to Congress gives Islam a reward for perpetrating 911. You know for a certainty he would not have been elected but for the Minneapolis liberals who are anxious to appease the Islamofascists.

Good for Praeger, altho I fear that view doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Oil and water do not mix, and neither does Judeo-Christian and Islam. They are at odds with each other, and these muzzies will use our laws against us.

It's a damn shame.

I hope most Americans figure that out when Barack Obama is on the 2008 presidential/vice presidential ticket.

Barak Obama is not Muslim. Or at least he doesn't claim to be.

This is just the beginning. Sooner or later everyone will offend them in some way and all dissent will be silenced.

Yep, people should have realized with the Mohamed cartoon fiasco that the muzzies are already trying to enforce sharia here.

Unfortunately, they are succeeding.

All Prager's comments did was show just how stupid he acually is. Congressmen are sworn in together on the floor of the House in one big mob. No Bibles, or any other books, are used.

He did kind of jump on that without doing his research, so he missed the underlying facts of the issue.

That still doesn't justify CAIR's attack on him.
