Harsh criticism of Annan's Iraq statements
Berlin (DPA) - the statements of UN secretary general Kofi Annan to Iraq have bumped in Berlin into harsh criticism. Core of contention is the remark, the people in Iraq have been better under Saddam Hussein as today. To say this is "cynical and dangerous", said the CDP-foreign politician Eckart von Klaedenof the Bild newspaper. His SPD colleague Hans-Ulrich Klose recommended to Annan to look at the position from the point of view of Saddam's victim. The FDP-outside expert Wolfgang Gerhardt called the comparison simply out of question.
I am positively surprised by this bunch of German politicians! By rebuking Annans idiotic remarks they have shown backbone and common sense, both are usually lacking among German politicians.
I'm lovin' it. Now if we can just make sure Kofi doesn't get his request for back payment and a larger pension.
Kofi belongs in a larger prison.
Kofi.........it's shameful to even know that name.....
I look in his eyes and just see pure unadulturated evil.
Really, does anyone with common sense take Kofi, Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton serious? If they weren't so despicable they could pass as comedians.
bump
So, according to Annanian Logic: (looking at the destruction of Germany in December 1944) 'The people in Germany have been better under Adolf Hitler as today.'
The Kofi's world would be better with Saddam because he would still be lining Kofi's pockets with blood money. Mr. limo-liberal of the despot debating society (UN) is on par with Saddam in more ways than one.
