I saw him on Leno the other night. Let me tell you that if a person is not into politics very well they would think he is a great guy. He said all the right stuff. It was scary to me to be honest. I think with how Americans just love a person who has communication skills somehow is qualified to become President. Definitely scary to say the least!

It should be a Free Republic rule that every thread title that includes the oily scumbag's name should have his ENTIRE legal name: Barack Hussein Obama.

"The Audacity of Hope" sounds a lot like "Why not the Best?"

As I recall the mid-1970s all of a sudden one day there was Jimmy Carter! Who?

On the cover of all MSM stuff, featured on TV network news, a celebrated author of the new book "Why not the Best?" and a guest on all the TV discussion shows. . everywhere: there was Governor Carter of Georgia, all genuflect! It is wish the of the anointed ones.

"Surely he has some baggage"

He likes to torture and kill animals, his mothers pets. But, he says he has changed.

From a recent Newsweek interview, below. They are talking about the Pope's comments about Islam.

"Have you read the Qur'an?

"I can't say that I have read all of it.

"Have you read enough of it to have an opinion as to whether Islam is what the 14th-century Byzantine emperor said in his argument that it was, in other words, a religion of violent conquest?

"I think there are so many different interpretations of Islam as there are so many different interpretations of Christianity, that to somehow fix or define a religion based on one particular reading of the text is a mistake."

[End of quote]

Call me a bigot.. please!

but that's enough for me. It's a CAIR / Clintonesque non-answer and a CAIR-like blast at Christianity when the question was ABOUT ISLAM, dummy!

If others have left Islam and are in danger of being murdered by Islamists how come Islam has given Mr. Obama a pass?

"Do you condemn the killings in the name of Islam?" CAIR: "We condemn all violence, what about McVeigh? Stop picking on us, we didn't do it and you cannot prove we did, let us teach you about Islam. . . ."

Okay, somebody help me out here. I figured that Hillary would have the nomination if no one else on the Rat side caught fire, clearly Osama Obama has. Who are we better off with as their candidate, someone we know to be a conniving, evil witch, who will say or do anything to be elected, and would surely "get even" for the attacks on Bubba during his administration, or someone who, while slick, is a lightweight in just about every area imaginable? Even if Obama won, I'd see him as far more willing to work with Republicans than the witch would ever be. But I really don't think he's electable.

Any insights out there? Or should I keep Freeping polls for Vilsack?

"...George Soros, the liberal billionaire philanthropist,..."

Yes! We have this character, George Soros, to thank for targeting Rick Santorum for defeat here in Pennsylvania, and for pouring thousands of dollars into this state in order to bring it about.

If he supports Obama, and of course he would, there is going to be some serious money put into Obama's campaign coffers!

Whatever happened to campaign finance reform?

Barack Hussein Obama is only relevant because the MSM wants him to be. Remember, the MSM is going to decide who the candidates will be and who will win the election. All you have to do is watch how the press frames all the stories for the next two years.

As an aside, I resent being subjected to this crap for two whole years. Campaigns should be limited to three months max IMHO.
