The Bush men are such colossal softies. Haven't seen the women shed a tear. Ever.

God bless the Bush guys .. they're so tender hearted. Video to the right, by US & World .. the 3rd one over. Jeb was right there. Ironically, just the other night, GHWB and Doro were on cspan talking about her book about him .. and he said how he and she were the bawlers in the family.

I sob thinking of BOTH Bush presidencies. Both have done irreparable damage to the Republican Party, not to mention dilluting conservatism into socialism-light.

They say when men get older the relative lack of testoterone gives way to more prevalent estrogen so they cry more often.
Dick Vermeil was the test case for this.

It's a shame that Clinton defeated him. Yes and no. Had he prevailed, we would not have had 2 terms of GWB, IMHO.
I'd rather have had 2 terms of GWB than contemplate who would have been in office on 9/11 had Bush 41 won in '92.

Seeing raw emotion like that upfront from a public figure humanizes that public figure. At least GHWB exhibits real emotion, instead of some poll-driven emotion from The Sink Master where he bit his lower lip and scowled and pointed at everyone in the room as if to say "I've got your FBI file, and the IRS has your number" when most everyone in the room didn't believe the whoppers he could tell.
Clinton couldn't begin to fill GHWB's shoes when it comes to human qualities.
Bush 41 obviously loves and cares for his own family and continues to serve this country well.
Clinton is just a schmuck that won't go away.

He survived, the crew did not and he was minutes away from being another WWII casualty. Hell of a man if you ask me

Oh, I don't know if I had one. I enjoyed reading about Daddy Bush and how close to tears he always got. I loved him, a former president, blubbering like crazy watching his son get sworn in. I guess I think it's kind of sweet! I cry at my kids' kindergarten performances, and if pregnant I don't just shed a tear, I bawl! LOL.

No--I'm a Vivian Leigh fan. But you're right--the older one was on TCM recently. Couldn't chance the puffy eyes.
